foobar 2000 is a bare bones media player for MP3, WAV, OGG and other media formats. It comes without any bells and whistles, however, under the hood, the program offers quite a few features, including customizable title formatting and interface layouts, WAV conversion, Equalizer, Resampler, MP3 tag writing, playlists, music album, CD player, drag/drop and more. It also includes all of the standard features like shuffle, random play etc.
foobar 2000 runs in the system tray and uses very few system resources. Additional components (including a Monkey`s Audio decoder) are available to extend the functionality.
